Regional Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) America

Immediately | Fulltime | Located in Albany (New York) or by agreement

Your responsibilities

• Maintaining a continuous working relationship with suppliers in the region while facilitating smooth operation of the take back programs (reverse logistics).
• Act as first point of contact and escalation point for any operational issues.
• Maintain and manage supplier data base.
• Regular tendering, selection and contracting of active suppliers.
• Define and develop KPIs, assess supplier performance und contribute towards continuous process improvement.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with existing suppliers for ad hoc projects.
• Monitor trends and opportunities in the regional recycling industry.

Your qualifications

• 3rd level education – University Degree in Engineering, Management, Supply Chain studies or similar educational profile.
• 3-5 year of professional experience, with at least 2 years working in supply chain management.
• A general mastery of office 365 package with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• An additional language is considered an assert.
• Knowledge in Organization of logistics services and Purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and electrical waste regulation.
• Customer oriented, able to work in remote teams and cross-cultural awareness.
• Number and process-driven and cost conscious.
• Self-driven, able to work autonomously with high level of organisation skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
